What’s been happening:

Since graduation, I have been working and traveling throughout Central America. I spent several months working as a gym teacher in Ciudad Vieja, Guatemala as well as a personal trainer in Antigua, Guatemala. I was met by my fellow Penn State Alumni/former roommate in Guatemala and we traveled through every country in Central America, visiting Mayan ruins, climbing volcanoes, and learning how to dance punta along the way. I am currently getting ready to move down to Nashville, Tennessee to begin Vanderbilt's accelerated family nurse practitioner program. Upon graduation, I hope to use my degree and Spanish language skills to work with underserved populations. And despite the fact that Vanderbilt is in the SEC, I plan on finding a spot in Nashville to watch every Penn State football game this fall--GET EM LIONS!
